Job description_

We are building a multi-brand business, covering staffing and recruitment in the UK.

We have offices in London, Surrey and Birmingham in the UK, Ahmedabad in India and Cape Town in South Africa.

ThinkLocum focuses on placing doctors in roles across the UK.

We are on the NHS framework and alongside the NHS, we place doctors in surgeries, urgent care centres and in digital health.

The team is small but growing, and, to take the business to the next level, we are looking for a compliance officer to join the team.


The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Contact healthcare professionals to request and follow up on missing or expired compliance documents, such as DBS checks, immunisation records, and professional registrations
  • Review and verify compliance documents to ensure they meet the client's standards and regulatory requirements
  • Update and maintain on Vincere for each healthcare professional, including tracking expiration dates and renewal requirements
  • Communicate with clients and recruitment consultants regarding the status of healthcare professionals' compliance documents
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, such as GDPR and NHS Employers Check Standards
  • Conducting compliance audits with clients across healthcare
We are looking to scale our businesses both organically and through acquisition and the team is ambitious and driven.

We are a small but highly skilled and growing global team (around 50 FTE globally, 28 in Cape Town) and the ideal applicant for this job is someone who wants to make a difference in a high growth, high performing environment.

Skills and experience required:_

  • Proven experience working in a compliance role within the healthcare industry, preferably in a recruitment setting.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to assess complex information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with various stakeholders, both internally and externally.

Salary:
R15, R17,000.00 per month
