As a Supply Chain & Logistics Specialist, you will work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and distributors to optimize inventory levels, coordinate transportation activities, and monitor the overall performance of the supply chain. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background in supply chain management, experience in the chemical manufacturing industry, and knowledge of logistics and transportation processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Chemical Engineering, or a related field is required
  • Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) can be advantageous
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain logistics, in the Chemical Industry
  • Proficiency in software systems such as SAP, Oracle, or other enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
  • Familiarity with regulations governing the transport and storage of chemicals
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Must be based in the Western Cape
