Assets and Procurement Manager

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- *
  • Receiving IT equipment, ensure equipment is installed by technical staff.
  • Management of budget vs actual for purchasing of assets.
  • Asset register management and maintenance together with depreciation and impairment calculations.
  • Ensure all Invoices and EFT processes are followed for asset procurements.
  • Assist in asset project planning and budgeting for the group.
  • Maintaining receiving of IT equipment and hand out to IT technical for preparation and hand out of the device.
  • Maintaining store room and assets within the storeroom.
  • Management of equipment moves for all departments.
  • Manage and arrange support for monthly stock takes on assets.
  • Documentation and arrangement for faulty or damage devices to be written off and be destroyed.
  • Management of license disks, purchase and sale, financing, traffic fines and all vehicle related asset throughout the group.
  • Maintaining a vehicle register and movement of all vehicle between the various hubs for proper cost allocations.
  • Any other Ad-Hoc duties required by the financial managers or CFO related to the job and needs of the business as and when it arises.

Productivity and Efficiency:

  • Ensure that the Asset register for all 3 entities are kept up to date and properly managed and ensure that the list is complete and accurate

Customer Satisfaction:

  • Ensure that each business department is serviced within reasonable timeframe
  • Management of supplier and business center expectations in terms of timelines, deadlines and urgency of purchasing and selling of equipment as per business needs

Reporting/Budgeting:

  • Assisting with the annual budgeting process in terms of liaising with all other business units for CAPEX spend required, replacement of assets and maintenance of assets

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Matric
  • Procurement or Pharmaceutical / Supply Chain Qualification or a Business Administration with background in procurement or related field.
