We are seeking a Sheet Metal Worker with the following criteria:_

  • Repair, replace of sheet metal parts for aircraft in accordance with Maintenance Manual.
  • Replacing skins on controls of aircraft.
  • Deriveting of skins, riveting / fitting of ribs, sheet metal on aircraft stringers, etc.
  • Making of jigs for remanufacturing of broken / cracked sheet metal ex ribs for flaps and ailerons.
  • Keeping workplace, a safe environment at all times.
  • Daily housekeeping of workplace.
  • Complete daily tool check.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE_

The minimum requirement is a Grade 12 certificate with English, Mathematics, Technical Drawings and Engineering science. Plus 3 years relevant experience and appropriate Trade test Certificate(s).

The job incumbent is expected to demonstrate the following competencies:

  • Sound interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with a diverse range of individuals.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, verbally at all levels and in written form, in English.
  • Excellent organizational skills including ability to plan, prioritize and meet deadlines.
