Our client is an international brand with a massive presence in the South African market.

They are looking for an experienced Audit professional who had a deep understanding of the Insurance sector to join their team as an Audit Manager.

Some of the duties will be:

• Identifying audit issues
• Detailed analysis of client's financial statements
• Risk identification
• Analytical trend analysis
• Client engagement
• Staff management
• People devolvement (training, coaching and mentoring)
• Identifying risk and opportunities for clients

Requirements:

Qualified CA(SA) - preference with first time board passes

Articles at a Big 4 Audit firm

Minimum of 2 years post article experience - preferably in the Insurance sector

At least 1year people management experience within a traditional audit environment

Understanding of quality and risk requirements

Excellent understanding of IFRS and GAAP (Local) with in the Insurance sector

Must not be longer than 2 years out of Audit
