KEY PERFORMANCE AREA:
- Operates the tissue machine and processes and co-ordinates activities on a shift basis as
- Ensuring effective performance of all aspects of the Operating unit.
- Responsible for sustainable performance of the process while at the same time ensuring a
- Responsible for minimizing process upsets and maximizing uptime.
- Appropriately shutting down an starting up the plant when required
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Matric
- National Diploma in Pulp and Paper Technology or Engineering Equivalent
- Minimum 2 – 5 years pulp and paper exposure in a paper mill
- Technical Skills essential
- Good computer skills
- DCS knowledge
- Knowledge of WMS
- Knowledge of Syspro
- OSHACT,
- Company safety rules and regulations
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Be able to work with people from all disciplines.
- Adapt well to changes in job requirements.
- Occasionally conduct physically demanding tasks
- Be able to work long hours when needed
