Join Our Team as an Industrial Relations Officer in Bloemfontein

Are you an experienced Industrial Relations Officer with superb communication and negotiation skills? Our client is seeking a professional to oversee compliance and industrial relations within their organization. You will need to handle challenging situations with ease, working both independently and collaboratively.

Minimum Requirements:

  • LLB / Labour Relations Diploma / similar qualification
  • Minimum of 8 years' solid experience in industrial relations
  • Valid Driver's License with your vehicle
  • Computer literate with solid Excel experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract and Wage Administration: Ensure compliance with labour legislation
  • Audit employment contracts and employee data
  • Manage abscondment process and required documentation
  • Stay updated on relevant legislation and regulations
  • Advise on injury on duty incidents and compliance matters
  • Assist in disciplinary actions and maintain detailed records
  • Represent the company in negotiations and arbitrations
  • Assist operational managers with labour-related issues
  • Handle routine labour relations tasks and employee complaints
  • Assess risk levels and union complaints for negotiation strategies
  • Manage inspections and audits by relevant authorities
