Duties &
Responsibilities Key Responsibilities:1. Monitor and analyze customer accounts to identify potential credit risks2. Assess creditworthiness of new and existing customers3. Establish and recommend credit limits based on customer payment history and financial status4. Chase overdue invoices and escalate collection efforts as necessary5. Negotiate payment plans with customers to help resolve outstanding debts6. Create and maintain accurate and up-to-date credit control reports7. Work closely with sales and customer service teams to resolve credit-related issues8. Review and approve credit applications in accordance with company policies9. Accounts ReceivableCredit ControlQualifications and Experience:

  • Min of Matric. Bachelor's degree/Diploma in finance, accounting, or a related field, advantageous.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in credit control or a similar role
  • Strong understanding of credit control processes and procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial software systems
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
