CTP Cartons and Labels has a permanent vacancy available for an Electrician. Applicants should be in possession of a relevant Electrical qualification and have a minimum of 5 years appropriate experience.

  • Performing highlevel electrical and electronic work.
  • Ensuring effective faultfinding and preventative and corrective maintenance.
  • Ensure the fixing of all DB boards;
  • Performing electrical and electronic systems installation, including modification thereof.
  • PLC programming and fault finding
  • Fault finding on machine PC's, electrical and electronic equipment i.e. PLC's variable speed drives, tension control and vision inspection systems.
  • Root cause analysis.
  • Compile improvement proposals for plant equipment.
  • Aptitude or background of mechanical work will be an advantage.
  • Standby, call outs and overtime work is required.
