Main Purpose

The Publisher for Foundation Phase portfolio leads and manages the content creation for Foundation Phase related all numeracy & literacy products or services for Grade R, 1, 2 and 3.

For the duration of the Foundation Phase, one teacher is responsible for teaching all subjects. It is during this period when the foundations for reading, writing and numeracy are taught. Creating and managing education text books for Foundation Phase is therefore complex and requires a deep understanding of the Foundation Phase pedagogy framework. This full-time position will operate as part of a wider publisher team and will report to the Lead Publisher for the Humanities & Commerce portfolio.
