Main Responsibilities

Role Overview:

Looking for a skilled Desktop Publisher to join our team As a Desktop Publisher, your main role will involve creating and formatting various documents like brochures, Point of Sale materials, In-store signage, and Outdoor Signage. You'll collaborate closely with our marketing and design teams to ensure all materials are visually appealing, error-free, and delivered on time. We need someone with a keen eye for design, strong technical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and laying out Broadsheets, Leaflets, and Point of Sale materials
  • Formatting documents following brand guidelines
  • Producing attractive graphics, images, and illustrations to enhance documents
  • Reviewing and editing documents for grammar, spelling, and overall consistency
  • Working with marketing and design teams to maintain brand consistency
  • Handling multiple projects simultaneously and managing priorities effectively
  • Keeping up-to-date with desktop publishing trends and best practices
  • Conducting quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with corporate standards

Minimum Requirements

  • Holder of a Bachelor's degree or Diploma in graphic design
  • Must have previous experience in FMCG
  • Demonstrated experience as a Desktop Publisher or similar role
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Understanding of typography, layout, and color theory
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong time management abilities
  • Capability to work on Mac platforms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication aptitude
  • Familiarity with print production and prepress procedures
  • Knowledgeable about RGB, CMYK & Pantone color models
  • Experience in the Digital Printing sector
  • Ability to perform well under pressure
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work efficiently
  • Beneficial to have layout experience in Adobe CC
  • Proficient in setting up and preparing files for print production
  • Understanding of packaging standards
  • Essential knowledge of large format printing
  • Advantageous to have expertise in vehicle branding
