A prominent player in the automotive industry focusing on selling high-end vehicles for the exclusive clientele has an enticing opportunity for a seasoned General Manager to join their team.

As the General Manager, you will oversee all facets of the dealership's operations, such as sales, service, finance, and administration. Collaborating closely with the executive team, you will devise and execute strategies to propel business growth, enhance customer satisfaction, and optimize profitability. Your leadership will be pivotal in attaining operational goals and upholding our status as a frontrunner in the automotive market.

Responsibilities

  • Sales Leadership: Head the sales team to meet sales targets, develop sales strategies, and implement efficient sales processes to boost revenue.
  • Customer Experience: Guarantee outstanding customer service, maintain high satisfaction scores, and nurture lasting customer relationships.
  • Inventory Management: Supervise inventory operations, including procurement, stocking, pricing, and merchandising, to enhance inventory levels and turnover rates.
  • Finance Management: Effectively manage dealership finances through budgeting, forecasting, and cost control to maximize profitability.
  • Staff Development: Recruit, train, and enhance dealership staff by offering coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to foster a culture of excellence.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline operational processes and implement best practices for better efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Marketing and Promotions: Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute marketing strategies and promotional campaigns to boost dealership traffic and increase sales.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with regulations and dealership standards, upholding high-quality standards in all dealership operations.
  • Vendor and Supplier Management: Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiate favorable terms, and ensure timely delivery of products and services.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), provide regular reports to the executive team, and take corrective actions as necessary to achieve business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • 10 or more years of experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated experience in a senior leadership position in the automotive industry, with a proven record of boosting sales and operational excellence.
  • Thorough understanding of automotive industry dynamics, market trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to inspire and motivate teams for results.
  • Strategic thinker capable of developing and executing effective business strategies to reach organizational goals.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to utilize data to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Proficient in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build solid relationships with customers, staff, and stakeholders.
