  • Engineering equipment is repaired according to agreed standards, specifications and schedules.
  • Electrical equipment installations are constructed and maintained according to agreed standards, procedures and specifications.
  • Effective selfmanagement and alignment with M&RC values

Minimum requirements- Grade 12 or NQF 4 equivalent

  • Section 26 Electrical Trade Certificate / MIETTB (Mining Industry Engineering Trades Training Board) Trade Certificate through a registered body
  • Flame Proof and Gas Testing Certificates (Advantageous)
  • Valid First Aid Certificate (Essential)
  • Valid Code EB driver's license
  • Good English written and verbal communication skills.
  • 5 year's mining industry experience (underground, surface and plant)
  • 5 year's trade experience as an Electrician
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings.
  • Ability to do faultfinding from drawings.
  • Ability to supervise team.
