We are in search of a talented Civil Draughtsman with high expertise in the field. As a Civil Draughtsman, you will have a key role in producing precise and detailed technical drawings for civil engineering projects. The perfect candidate should be skilled in CAD software and possess a deep understanding of civil engineering principles.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed technical drawings, plans, and layouts for a variety of civil engineering projects.
  • Analyze and revise initial sketches, drawings, specs, and data to generate accurate final drawings.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and other experts to grasp project needs and requirements.
  • Ensure that all drawings adhere to applicable codes, regulations, and standards.
  • Make necessary revisions to drawings based on feedback from project stakeholders.
  • Maintain well-organized records of drawings, revisions, and project documentation.
  • Support in creating project cost estimates and material take-offs.
  • Stay informed about the latest industry trends and advancements in drafting technology.

Qualifications:

  • Hold a Diploma or Certificate in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Civil Draughtsman, preferably in the construction or engineering sector.
  • Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Strong focus on detail and precision.
  • Outstanding communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Capable of working effectively under pressure and meeting deadlines.
  • Familiarity with pertinent codes, regulations, and standards.
