Job summary
We are looking for a qualified Payroll Clerk to assist in all activities regarding the management of employee compensation in the company.
You will undertake a variety of tasks such as entering payroll information, calculating wages, and making Assisting with the POE files.
Responsibilities
- Collect and verify timekeeping information for all employees.
- Calculate pay according to hours worked incorporating leaves and overtime.
- Manage and calculate taxes and deductions.
- Update paper and electronic payroll records by entering adjustments on pay rates, employee status changes etc.
- Deal with complaints and questions regarding payroll from employees and upper management
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in payroll.
- Prepare and submit reports with payroll information to supervisor.
- Assist HR department with the POE file.
- Decide with Employees on site for the relevant documentations.
- Ensure that files are updated.
- Assist in preparing inputs for upcoming CCMA cases.
- Prepare all documents for Labour Inspection.
Requirements and skills
- Experience as
payroll clerk or HR Admin. - Familiarity with general payroll principles
- Experience in data collection, entry, and reporting with great attention to detail and confidentiality
- Solid knowledge of relevant HR Procedures
- Computer Microsoft knowledge.
- Must be willing to learn.
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication abilities with aptitude in problemsolving
- HR Degree/Diploma
Pay:
From R15,000.00 per hour
Ability to Commute:
- Fourways, Gauteng (required)
Ability to Relocate:
- Fourways, Gauteng: Relocate before starting work (required)
