Job summary


We are looking for a qualified Payroll Clerk to assist in all activities regarding the management of employee compensation in the company.

You will undertake a variety of tasks such as entering payroll information, calculating wages, and making Assisting with the POE files.


Responsibilities

  • Collect and verify timekeeping information for all employees.
  • Calculate pay according to hours worked incorporating leaves and overtime.
  • Manage and calculate taxes and deductions.
  • Update paper and electronic payroll records by entering adjustments on pay rates, employee status changes etc.
  • Deal with complaints and questions regarding payroll from employees and upper management
  • Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in payroll.
  • Prepare and submit reports with payroll information to supervisor.
  • Assist HR department with the POE file.
  • Decide with Employees on site for the relevant documentations.
  • Ensure that files are updated.
  • Assist in preparing inputs for upcoming CCMA cases.
  • Prepare all documents for Labour Inspection.

Requirements and skills

  • Experience as
    payroll clerk or HR Admin.
  • Familiarity with general payroll principles
  • Experience in data collection, entry, and reporting with great attention to detail and confidentiality
  • Solid knowledge of relevant HR Procedures
  • Computer Microsoft knowledge.
  • Must be willing to learn.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication abilities with aptitude in problemsolving
  • HR Degree/Diploma

Pay:
From R15,000.00 per hour

Ability to Commute:

  • Fourways, Gauteng (required)

Ability to Relocate:
