We are seeking a visionary and experienced professional to join our team as the Director of IT in the fast-paced and innovative field of e-commerce.

As the Director of IT, you will lead the technological strategies, digital transformation, and IT infrastructure development essential for the success and growth of our e-commerce operations.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic IT plan aligned with the unique needs of the ecommerce industry.
  • Drive innovation by identifying and implementing technologies to enhance the user experience, optimize operations, and facilitate business growth.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of a scalable and secure IT infrastructure to support ecommerce operations.
  • Ensure the reliability and performance of servers, networks, and databases critical for seamless online transactions.
  • Collaborate with development teams to enhance platform functionality and user interfaces.
  • Implement robust cybersecurity measures to protect customer data, payment information, and proprietary ecommerce technologies.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and industry standards.
  • Implement and optimize digital marketing technologies to drive online traffic, enhance customer engagement, and improve conversion rates.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to implement personalized marketing strategies based on customer data.
  • Implement data analytics tools to track website performance, user behavior, and sales trends.
  • Provide actionable insights to improve decisionmaking processes and optimize the ecommerce customer journey.
  • Evaluate, select, and manage technology vendors and service providers catering to the ecommerce industry.
  • Negotiate contracts, monitor service levels, and ensure costeffective solutions.
  • Build and lead a highperforming IT team with expertise in ecommerce technology, software development, and technology support.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative culture within the IT department.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors or Master's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in IT leadership roles within the ecommerce industry.
  • Indepth knowledge of ecommerce platforms, online payment systems, and industryspecific technologies.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing, online advertising, and CRM tools in the context of ecommerce.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with successful ecommerce brands or platforms.
  • Knowledge of emerging trends in ecommerce technology, including AIdriven personalization and omnichannel experiences.
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance standards and best practices in the ecommerce industry.
