Our client in the Warehouse and Distribution industries requires your qualification and experience as a Warehouse Forklift Operator for their operation in Contermanskloof operation.


Primary Purpose of the position:

  • Ensures all materials and finished product are correctly stored and picked as required.
  • Complete shipments by picking and loading orders

Main Job Functions:

  • Ensure picking of materials is conducted 24hrs before the changeover
  • Ensure staging area is maintained in terms of housekeeping and relevant materials
  • Manage and record and verify material returns from production to the warehouse
  • Manage assigned aisles housekeeping and cycle counts
  • Visual checks, daily cleaning of equipment and workstations.
  • Operate Forklift in a safe manner.
  • Complete daily checklists for Forklift.
  • Required to assist with other duties as needed.
  • Daily housekeeping of the warehouse will be your responsibility which will include but not limited to sweeping, dusting off pallets, cleaning of the Forklift.
  • Adherence to Quality and Health and Safety Standards
  • Assists in any other area when required.

Minimum Requirements to be considered for the position:

  • Matric / Grade 1-2 Years Warehouse experience in a Warehouse & Distribution environment
  • 2 Years Warehouse Forklift operating experience
  • Valid Forklift license
  • Knowledge of FEFO and FIFO Warehouse requirements
  • Reside close to Contermanskloof surrounding area
  • Ability to work shifts and Overtime with a 45 hour NT week before OT is paid

Job Types:
Full-time, Temporary

Contract length: 6 months

Salary:
R34.14 per hour
