We are looking for an experienced Cabinetry Foreman/Manager with over 15 years of experience to head our worshop. We specialize in the manufacturing of high-end Kitchens, BIC's, Bathroom vanities, Bars and custom made free standing furniture.

This supervisory role is for a person who will produce carpentry products as well as manage the team.

Responsible for daily floor operations and production.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Review of cabinet drawings.
  • Assigning tasks to team members to streamline workflow.
  • Job preparation
  • Maintain high levels of production quality in a timely manner.
  • Security and cleanliness of the store
  • Verify dimensions and construction from cabinet drawings, paying attention to detail and quality.
  • Ensure all factory equipment is maintained and in good working order.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all production is completed safely and on time and that the quality of the final product meets company standards.
  • Indepth knowledge of professional carpentry shop equipment and machinery as well as carpentry construction and installation techniques
  • Understanding of blueprints, cutting lists, parts lists and diagrams.
  • Ability to work in CAD/AUTOCAD to prepare production activities.
  • Excellent communication and problemsolving skills as well as the ability to teach others.
  • Model the following: work ethic, quality of work, productivity, positive attitude, and the ability to get along with others.
  • Providing occupational safety in production, and giving necessary training.
  • Carrying out production activities by staying within the boundaries of the budget approved by the managing director.

Salary:
R16 000,00 - R35 000,00 per month
