Lecturer at our East London campus on a permanent basis.

Type of appointment:

Permanent appointment

Purpose:

  • To lecture Commercerelated modules, in the faculty on a fulltime basis.
  • To assist in the administration and departmental affairs and activities as required by the academic department.

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum qualifications required:

  • BCom Honors Degree in Economics
  • A Masters Degree will be preferable

Experience:

  • 1 2 years or relevant lecturing experience
  • Necessary knowledge of higher education practices and processes
  • Relevant research experience

Duties and Responsibilities:

Modules to be lectured:

  • Business Management
  • Economics
  • Math for Commerce

Responsibilities:

  • Lecturing
  • General administration
  • Setting and marking of assessments
  • Preparation of notes and additional study materials
  • Quality Assurance
  • Management of Atrisk students
