JOB ADVERT - CONCIERGE


We are seeking to employ a dynamic and energetic Concierge at a Care Centre located at a Retirement resort in Century City, Cape Town.


Responsibilities:

  • Driver of company vehicle
  • Accompany residents on outings/shopping trips
  • Ad hoc errands for the Care Centre
  • Maintenance of Company Vehicle
  • General front of the house duties
  • Correct and Professional answering of the telephone at reception and managing the main desk
  • Assist in dining room when needed
  • General Administrative duties
  • Distribute incoming mail to family members/patients/residents
  • Monitor people entering and leaving the Care Centre
  • Securing the building after hours
  • Be available for emergency situations fire evacuations etc
  • Knowledge of maintenance changing a light bulb, tune in a TV and telephone
  • Reporting to management after hours
  • Assisting with minor maintenance duties

Requirements:

  • Matric Certificate
  • Valid Driver's License with PDP
  • Own transport (Essential)
  • 1 year experience as a Concierge.
  • A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Responsible and compassionate
  • Outstanding organizational and multitasking skills
  • Patient with excellent problemsolving skills
  • Familiar with general administrative duties
  • Very well presented

Education:

  • High School (matric) (preferred)
