Job Description:


We are seeking a skilled Draughtsman to join our team and contribute to the creation of detailed technical drawings and plans.

As a Draughtsman, you will work closely with engineers, architects, and designers to transform conceptual ideas into precise drawings that adhere to industry standards and specifications.


Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed technical drawings and plans using computeraided design (CAD) software.
  • Interpret rough sketches, specifications, and other input from engineers, architects, and designers to develop accurate drawings.
  • Ensure that all drawings comply with relevant regulations, codes, and standards.
  • Collaborate with project teams to understand project requirements and deadlines.
  • Make revisions to drawings as necessary based on feedback and design changes.
  • Generate bills of materials and other documentation as required.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations and visual aids for client meetings.
  • Maintain organized files and records of all drawings and related documents.
  • Stay current with advancements in CAD technology and techniques.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide input to improve overall design quality.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Draughtsman or similar role in a related industry.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar programs.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drawing creation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and standards.
  • Time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • A degree or certification in drafting, engineering, architecture, or a related field is preferred.
  • Familiarity with 3D modeling software is a plus.
  • Strong problemsolving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
