Duties and Responsibilities

De-Brief vehicle and trip documentation
Vehicle checks
Capture all trip sheets on the system
Collection of all Toll and Diesel slips
Calculation of L/Km
Ensure that equipment and pallets are offloaded
Inform briefing of vehicle returns
Managing any driver or delivery issues that may develop during shift
General administration duties
Ensuring correct paperwork and POD's are issued and returned
Liaise with drivers throughout the shift and obtain updates and progress of delivery time scales, relaying feedback to the relevant departments;
Generating Diesel orders for drivers;
Sending necessary eta to clients.

Minimum Requirements

Grade 1
Tertiary qualification in Logistics / Supply Chain will be advantageous
Fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English) & Computer literacy
Strong organizational and planning skills with attention to detail
Work independently and without supervision
Selfdriven, multitask and excellent interaction skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Proactivity with problem solving skills, with the ability to work in a team environment
Excellent telephone manners
Willing to work extended hoursand shifts (24:0009:00 and 15:0024:00)
Own transport

Ability to commute/relocate:

Western Cape:
Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
