Minimum Qualification/ Experience:

  • Minimum Grade 9 but Grade 12 will be advantageous.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Be literate and functionally numerate.
  • 35 years' experience in a similar environment.
  • Preemployment medical required.
  • Must have a valid Operator's certificate.
  • Basic mechanical background would be advantageous.
  • Medically fit in terms of the Mine Health and Safety Act.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operating the TMM (Dumper) and carrying out all related tasks.
  • Reporting general mechanical elementary problems.
  • Operate TMM (Dumper) in a respectful safe manner in line with training received.
  • Be safety conscious.
  • Able to work as part of a team.
  • Acknowledge that Management may allocate additional tasks when tasks cannot be completed on standard allocated job.
