Set-up and machining of products to specifications on production machines as well as inspection of products to specifications and work instructions.

Key Responsibilities:

Safety First:

  • Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.

Systems:

  • Set and operate specified machine. Sign first off components
  • Able to identify inserts and trouble shoot where necessary

Process:

  • Machine components to drawing specification within the required standard time.
  • Work with tolerance of 12 microns
  • Use of measuring instruments outside and inside mics, verniers, telescopic gauges, thread and blade mics, bore mics, thread gauges

Programming:

  • Able to read, alter off sets and set geometry of tooling on CNC programs
  • CNC horizontal and vertical borer (35 axis) and CNC lathe

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

  • Matric
  • Qualified Fitter and Turner with red seal
Years CNC experience

  • CNC Programming course (Disired)


 Computer Literate
  • MS Office Suite
