Plumber Technician Supervisor

Role:


As a Plumber Technician Supervisor, your primary responsibility is to supervise and support the day-to-day work of technicians and call operators.

This involves managing staff and operations within a technical area, which includes tasks such as scheduling time, managing performance, supply and logistics, identifying training needs, and providing recommendations for personnel actions.


Responsibilities:

  • Train and onboard new technical employees, including plumbers and assistants.
  • Set up and maintain on-call and standby schedules, managing work schedules, monitoring overtime, and approving timesheets.
  • Provide work direction to involved teams and participate in the physical day-to-day workings of the team.
  • Enforce safety policies and recommend changes to meet safety standards and laws.
  • Ensure that employees complete assigned tasks within the given deadline, managing performance, and recommending necessary personnel actions.
  • Inspect work in progress and completed work to ensure that standards are met.
  • Identify and assist in correcting unsafe conditions, ensure safety procedures are followed, and report workplace incidents.
  • Produce periodic reports on various assets and equipment.
  • Schedule regular services for vehicles and equipment.
  • Perform inventory control, assist in ensuring adequate levels of parts, equipment, and supplies.
  • Assist with resolving customer complaints.

Salary:
From R12 500,00 per month

Experience:

Plumbing Industry: 1 year (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

Ability to Relocate:
