Job Description:
Hire Resolve is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Engineering Foreman to join our client's coal mining operations.
As the Engineering Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and managing a team of engineers and technicians.
Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance within the mining electrical reticulation network and supporting electrical systemsEnsure optimal TMM utilisation & availabilityEnsure compliance to Safety and Quality policies, procedures, and standardsShift line-up and hand-overTechnical supervisionSupervise and coordinate maintenance activities for mining equipment and machineryEnsure compliance with safety protocols and regulationsDevelop and implement preventive maintenance programsConduct inspections and troubleshoot equipment issuesManage and oversee the work of engineering staff and contractorsMaintain accurate maintenance records and reportsProvide technical support and guidance to the teamRequirements:Grade 12Electrical Engineering TradeEnglish proficiencyValid driver's licenseMust have a strong electrical background in MiningMedium-Voltage Electrical reticulation network and systemsMedium Voltage certificate Competent A (advantageous)
Minimum of 4 years relevant supervisory experienceMinimum of 3 years' experience in Open cast miningPhysically fit and able to pass a medical/fitness testMust have a clear criminal record and willing to undergo criminal checkSound communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to operate without supervision and be able to work under pressureSound Knowledge of Earth Moving machineryBe a self–starter and able to work according to targets / deadlinesBenefits:
