  • Agile Project REQUIREMENTS_
Deliverables Description

  • Skills transfer Request for an Agile Project Management service, for skill transfer for Scrum Masters for active agile initiatives.
The Scrum Masters will be required to assist Programme and Project Managers to oversee the scrum and development teams. They should provide knowledge and the necessary couching around Agile methodology, processes, practices, and principles.

They should also act as a buffer between the scrum teams and the product owners and assist the Programme and Project Managers to maintain a safe working environment for the teams.


  • Training


They should provide training and couching to the product owners as they will be undertaking this new role for the first time.

These requirements should be met throughout the contract period for all agile initiatives that will be undertaken within the contract period.


  • On job Coaching
On the job coaching is required for the Product Owners, Programme and Project Managers and the Development Team.

The Scrum Master will be required to provide coaching to the Agile Development Team on how best to executive scrum for the given initiatives.

The Programme and Project Managers will need to work closely with the Scrum Master to learn how to best execute Scrum principles within the team and thus champion the team to successful implementations.


  • Project implementation
Scrum master will be assigned - 3 projects running in parallel. The requirement is for the successful delivery of the projects whilst adhering to governance processes. Projects will be confirmed upon the appointment of the vendor.
Waterfall Projects Requirements_

Project Managers will be responsible for the entire project lifecycle that is from

planning, execution, monitor & control projects lastly project close out. The scope will

include the following:

  • Monitor & control
Develop detailed project plan to monitor and track progress Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques

  • Planning
Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

  • Project Implementation
Project manager will be assigned - 3 projects running in parallel. The requirement is for the successful delivery of the projects whilst adhering to governance processes.

Adhere to procurement process for any require resources outside the organisation

Projects will be confirmed upon the appointment of the vendor. Responsible for preparing submission to investment committees and any other governance committees. Perform risk management to minimize project risks, by completing risk register and issue list

  • Reporting

Report to the relevant Governance structure including:

  • Completing weekly flash report
  • Prepare submission to project Steering Committees etc.
  • Prepare monthly forecasts
  • Prepare monthly reports
  • Project close out
Perform as project close out activities as stipulated by Project lifecycle model

Work Experience
The project management services required will be for both Agile and Waterfall projects.

The required skills will include programme managers, project managers, project

administrators and coordinators and portfolio analysts for waterfall projects, scrum

masters and coaches.

A minimum of 10 years experience

Education
Relevant qualifications in Project Management or B Degree or Diploma or B Tech.
