Fleet Management & Compliance

  • Develop, implement and maintain fleet best practices and processes.
  • Monthly management of fleet budget per branch
  • Proactively plan scheduled fleet expenditure and action per branch
  • Proactively manage fleet expenditure processes per branch (quotations, approval and action)
  • Analyse costs, recommend and/or implement cost saving techniques to eliminate wastage.
  • Ensure preventative maintenance systems in place and actioned.
  • Ensure fleet checks are managed per branch.
  • Ensure compliance with Fleet SOP's per branch.
  • Ensure fleet meets the company's quality standards (mechanical condition, body condition and cleanliness)
  • Fleet repair processes implemented and managed per branch.
  • Insurance claim processes implemented and managed per branch.
  • Fleet repair and insurance claim approval
  • Ensure traffic fine processes implemented and managed per branch.
  • Ensure tracking system and processes implemented and managed per branch.
  • Vehicle purchase and disposal: review and advise on best practice per branch.
  • New vehicle delivery: processes implemented, maintained and actioned per branch.
  • Vehicle disposal: processes implemented, maintained and actioned per branch.
  • Signage: all vehicles branded according to company standards.
  • Ensure fleet records maintained and managed per branch.
  • Ensure fleet records accurately recorded on tracking system.
  • Ensure supplier relationships managed for all fleet requirements per branch.

Property Maintenance

  • Implement and manage building repair and maintenance preventative measures and standards per branch.
  • Proactively plan and manage building maintenance expenditure and processes per branch (quotations, approval and action)
  • Analyse costs, recommend and/or implement cost saving techniques to eliminate wastage.
  • Monthly management of repairs and maintenance budget
  • Ensure that facilities are always neat, organized, tidy and wellpresented and drive towards a safe and healthy working environment for all employees in compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act, Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Disease Act, Environmental legislation and other related legislation.

Human Resources

  • Check, authorize and make applicable changes to ensure accurate and costeffective rostering of fleet staff.
  • Day to day management and support to Ops and fleet teams including crisis management and complaint resolution.
  • Branch visits (where required / applicable) with assessment report.
  • Ensure optimum resource utilisation and effective cost management.
  • Ensure verification and signoff all fleet overtime.
  • Ensure that the company's personnel policies and procedures are adhered to and that the legislative requirements are complied with, with specific reference to the Labour Relations Act, Basic Conditions of Employment Act, Employment Equity Act, Skills Development Act, Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment Act, Bargaining Council Agreement and other related legislation.
  • Ensure staff records maintained and up to date (contracts, job descriptions, reviews, training etc.)
  • Manage staff in line with the Company Disciplinary Code and make timeous recommendations and participate in corrective discipline as and when required.
  • Ensure recruitment, induction and probationary review processes adhered to
  • Ensure timeous management of Staff Appraisal processes (as required)
  • Ensure effective communication of all fleet related matters and regular fleet staff meetings.
  • Recommendation, input and participation of team building events as required.
  • Input and assistance with the management of annual leave cycles, rosters and overtime for fleet staff
  • Ensure fleet department outputs are delivered as per KPI's.
  • Ensure a work environment that recruits, retains and supports quality employees.
  • Maintain a culture that will attain the company goals and that reenforces the organisations values.
  • Directing subordinates to achieve individual and team objectives.
  • Manage the performance of individuals per agreed KPI's, implementing correction measures where necessary.
  • Develop self and career through setting and achieving personal career goals.

Job Types:

Salary:
R25, R30,000.00 per month
