This position involves a variety of key responsibilities:
- Preparing monthly management packs for the group in line with company policies.
- Compiling financial packs with commentary for presentation to board members and committees.
- Reviewing weekly flash results for the group.
- Consolidating Actual, Forecast, and Plan data in Hyperion Financial Management.
- Overseeing the budgeting and forecasting processes within the organization.
- Collaborating with the Group Technical Accountant to manage new acquisitions and disposals in the HFM system.
- Assisting divisional analysts with acquisition journals and balances, ensuring approvals are obtained.
- Conducting monthly analytical reviews of prices, volumes, and key statistics.
- Processing group elimination entries.
- Handling inter-company matching and ensuring data accuracy before submission.
- Working closely with divisional finance teams to meet all data submission deadlines.
- Engaging with Finance Managers for process enhancements and reporting tool improvements.
- Managing changes, upgrades, and maintenance of the HFM application for optimized reporting.
- Providing support and guidance on HFM usage to Reporting Analysts.
- Identifying and addressing training needs for HFM users through workshops.
- Preparing and submitting regulatory reports to various authorities.
- Supporting the Group Financial Controller and Technical Accountant.
- Contributing to ad-hoc projects as necessary.
