This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small niche clinical research organisation who are looking to expand their Admin Team in the South African office.

This is a fully office based role.

JOB PURPOSE

  • To provide frontline support services to the SA Office. Also, to act as a central support person for the CEO in relation to communications, correspondence and associated documentation, with particular emphasis on project administration.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE

  • Greeting visitors
  • Managing security and telecommunications systems
  • Transferring calls as necessary
  • Taking and ensuring messages are passed to the appropriate staff member in time
  • Managing meeting room availability
  • Receiving, sorting, distributing and dispatching daily mail
  • Preparing vouchers
  • Handling transcription, printing, photocopying and faxing
  • Recording and maintaining office expenses
  • Handling travel arrangements
  • Coordinating internal and external events
  • Managing office inventory such as stationery, equipment, food and furniture
  • Overseeing office services like cleaners and maintenance service providers
  • Assisting the HR team with recruitment, onboarding and termination processes
  • Maintaining safety and hygiene standards of the reception area
  • Full PA support to the CEO
  • Full management of the hospitality service of the business

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and EXPERIENCE

  • Grade 12 certificate
  • Admin or related certificate
  • Previous administration experience, previous health industry experience advantageous
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good telephone communication etiquette
  • Organized and resourceful
  • Customerfocused
  • Active listener
  • Adept at prioritizing, scheduling and multitasking
  • Ability to handle office equipment (e.g., the telephone system, printerand the fax machine)
  • Fast and eager learner
  • Able to function autonomously

Job Type:
Contract

Contract length: 12 months

Salary:
R8, R10,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Century City,

Western Cape:
Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
