  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
  • Manage collections, dispatch and returns.
  • Improve systems and update or implement relevant, appropriate and comprehensive SOPS
  • Ensure compliance of SOP
  • Manage the drivers and the daily deliveries to customers
  • Ensure that the maintenance of all the vehicles are done
  • Liaising with couriers and customers
  • Manage the branch deliveries daily & courier contract
  • Manage the collections team ensuring customers are dealt with speedily, efficiently and professionally.
  • Manage back to stock and sample shop operations
  • Ensure that all administrative tasks are completed within the prescribed timeframe on Amtrack and/or other systems
  • Assist in other positions / departments as and when required
  • The ability to manage staff i.e. disciplinary procedures etc
  • Comply with health and safety regulations
  • Maintain good housekeeping standards
    Inherent Requirements
  • MINIMUM SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
  • Standard 10 / Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications an advantage
  • Minimum 10 years experience in a similar environment in a management role.
  • Excellent communications skills, with above average English skills.
  • Experienced on various WMS systems
  • Worked in a corporate environment in house warehouse & distribution) as opposite to logistics/freight/shipping environment.
  • Frontline customer experience and focus.
