As a Backoffice Administrator, you will play a vital role in managing various administrative tasks, including credit control responsibilities.


This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the success of our organization and work in a dynamic back-office environment.


Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date tenant accounts.

Address any client inquiries arising from the credit control process.

Reconcile tenants' statements and collaborate with the billing team to resolve any discrepancies or missing invoices/credits.

Accurately account for and allocate all bank payments and income.

Regularly send account statements to tenants.


Provide comprehensive reports and updates on credit control activities, including expected weekly receipts and any encountered issues requiring further assistance.

Assist in the bi-annual preparation and service charges process.

Support the end-of-year accounts procedures.

Verify and correctly allocate/pay utility bills and council tax.

Perform general back office administrative tasks such as data entry, document management, filing, and correspondence handling.

Assist with the maintenance of office supplies and inventory.

Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements.

Support team members with administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Proven experience in a back office administrative role.

Experience in credit control is preferred.

A background in accounting or finance is a plus.

Minimum NQF Level 6 qualification with Mathematics and English.

Preferred Skills:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Strong attention to detail.

Proficient multitasking abilities.

Intermediate to advanced computer skills.

Strong organizational skills.

About the Position:

Working hours: 9 AM to 7 PM.

Salary:
Market related and commensurate with applicant's prior work experience and skill level.

Salary:
R9, R15,000.00 per month
