MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Senior Certificate


 Red Seal
  • Motor Mechanic
  • Min of 5 years' experience in either VW or Audi dealership.
  • Must provide training schedule from VW or Audi SA.

EXPERIENCE:

  • The individual we are looking to employ MUST meet the minimum requirements and under no circumstances will exceptions be made.
  • We are seeking qualified and experienced motor mechanic that is a team player / Not a clock watcher / a motor mechanic that is able to understand and complete instructions given by the Service Manager / a motor mechanic that is able to work unsupervised and is able to take initiative when needed / takes responsibility for his own actions.

THE DUTIES OF THE MOTOR MECHANIC IS AS FOLLOWS:

  • Test driving vehicles to asses and diagnose accurately.
  • Must have the experience and knowledge to use the VAS diagnostic system correctly.
  • Liaise with the Service Advisor / Workshop Foreman and Service Manager regularly on WIP.
  • Minor and Major Services
  • Engine Remove and replace
  • Engine Strip & Assemble
  • Gearbox Remove & Replace
  • Braking Systems
  • Steering
  • Suspension
  • Differentials
  • ELECTRICAL DIAGNOSTICS
  • MECHANICAL DIAGNOSTICS
