Digital Marketing Assistant Internship

unpaid fully remote internship for a business based in the UK. The initial period is 3 months,
with the potential for a paid opportunity thereafter.

About Rebound Athletic


Rebound Athletic is a new online fitness business, with a very strong niche in an otherwise crowded market, with a sizeable audience to attract.

Our proposition is providing re-conditioning programs and support for athletic people who've had Long COVID. It is estimated that 65 million people worldwide have the condition.


The key point of difference is that the trainer and founder of Rebound Athletic had Long Covid, so understands deeply the problems of our target audience, and has developed programs and a service to solve them.


When people sign up to Rebound Athletic, they will join a community of Rebounders who all share lived experience and training mindsets.

There is an opportunity to nurture this community for engagement and lead generation.

Rebound Athletic aims to inspire strength, resilience, and hope.

One avenue for doing so is through our blog - Rebound Stories which shines a light on recovery journeys back to health and athletic pursuits.

Key to our marketing strategy will be to lean into the founders story and others to create a PR campaign in order to attract traffic and generate leads.


What you'll do

  • Create and edit PR campaign materials and manage delivery onto PR online platforms.
  • Help create and manage social media content calendars, including scheduling and publishing posts, and engaging with new followers.
  • Conduct market research and analyze data to identify trends and insights to optimize campaigns.
  • Work with the team to create and manage digital advertising campaigns, including developing ad copy and graphics.
  • Oversee the production and SEOoptimisation of high quality blog content, including identifying and producing content that addresses our audience needs and can be repurposed on social media.
  • Monitor and analyze website, blog and social media analytics to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the founder to ensure brand consistency and alignment across all digital channels.
  • Assist in managing and updating the company website and app including content creation, optimization, and maintenance.
  • Keep uptodate with the latest digital marketing trends and technologies and make recommendations for implementing new strategies.

What you'll bring

Essential

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • 12 years of experience in digital marketing
  • Understanding of PR best practice through study or practical experience.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and marketing tools, such as Facebook Ads Manager, Google Analytics, and Hootsuite.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and timemanagement skills.
  • Ability to work with autonomy and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of SEO best practices and how to optimize website content for search engines.
  • Basic design skills and experience with design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.

Desirable

  • A background and passion for fitness and/or sport.
