Attendant: Packing Quality

Responsible for total Quality assurance at the Production Site, which includes ensuring the effectiveness of Quality Control Management System and specifications which enables the production of high -quality products.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily quality control checks on incoming raw material, in
- process product and / finished / packed product.

  • Responsible for total Quality assurance at the Production site which includes ensuring the effectiveness of Quality Control Management System and specifications which enables the production of high
- quality products.

  • To timeously ensure that testing equipment are in good condition to ensure accuracy of results.
  • To analyze and record the results to verify whether the products are within specification and inform line and or supervisor accordingly.
  • To maintain general standard of housekeeping and safety to meet GLP standards.
  • To ensure Food Safety (FSSC adherence.
  • To ensure that the OHSAct is complied with.
  • To ensure timeous and accurate results capturing onto LIMS

Qualification Requirements:

  • Grade 12 with Mathematics and Science

Experience Requirements:

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a laboratory environment will be an advantage.
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Office package)

Other Requirements:

  • Pressurized environment
  • Must be able to work shifts.
  • Required to work Saturdays, Sundays, and Public Holidays
  • Required to be on standby
  • Overtime expected from time to time.
