_What is the job:

This role needs an individual who preferably understands the FMCG industry, the financial and internal controls of auditing and someone who will be able to provide feedback and compile reports pertaining to forensic audit results.

The role reports directly to the Internal Compliance Lead.

_What will be expected of you?

Forensic and risk-based audit:

-
Plan and conduct investigations into breaches of policy, suspected criminal activity, fraud, theft, and other financial crimes.
-
Liaise with service providers: such as polygraph, security agents, surveillance, and alarm specialists as well as other relevant authorities.

Review of security measures including surveillance footage.
-
Identify risks, compile, update and maintain audit files.
-
Plan and perform detailed reviews of security processes, standards and provide support to the internal audit team.

Develop fraud and risk management audit working procedures and programmes relating to the fraud risk management audit engagements.

Draft fraud risk management audit findings, corresponding reports, preparation and presentation to management as appropriate.

Fraud and risk tip-offs monitoring and assessments.

Review and audit irregularities in expense accounts.**:


  • Conduct and monitor, quality and compliance checks in respect of all business operations.

Manage ad hoc requests from inception to finalisation and in an efficient, effective and timely manner.

Assist with detection of potentially fraudulent activities, trends and preventative measures and improve efficiencies.

Identify and drive optimal recoveries against estimated loss values for the Group.

_Are you qualified?

3 (three) year National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Accounting/ Auditing/ Forensic Auditing (required)

_Did you do this before?

_:

-
3 (three) years practical experience combined in
Forensic Investigation and Internal Audit (required)

_Do you have what it takes?

_:


  • Microsoft office proficiency.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to commute/reliable transport
  • Forensic Investigations knowledge
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Audit report writing skills
  • Security and surveillance management knowledge (Desirable).
