Ensure that LOTO procedures are adhered to at all times.

Ensure work areas including equipment in use are safe, and all EHS programs are always adhered to.

Conduct daily safety checks as per safety checklist and ensure that Artisans conduct their daily safety checklist.

Ensure that all statutory inspections on plant and equipment are done and records kept safely.

Doing routine preventative maintenance through work orders and giving feedback

Mentoring learners through coaching

Commission equipment after maintenance has been carried out

The ideal candidate must have Matric. 2 to 3 years' experience as an Artisan in the manufacturing environment, with an extensive knowledge of fault finding. This role calls for a person who can run a shift and good communication skills. PLC knowledge is an added advantage.
