Senior Construction Manager/Site Agent

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing complex construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate construction projects, including planning, scheduling, and budgetingProvide guidance and supervision to construction teams on-site, ensuring compliance with construction plans, specifications, and safety regulationsMonitor and control project progress, making strategic decisions and adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completionCollaborate and communicate effectively with key stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, architects, and engineersManage project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking, and reportingOversee the procurement of construction materials, equipment, and services, ensuring they meet project requirements and specificationsConduct regular site inspections to identify and resolve any issues or potential risks that may impact the project timeline and qualityEnsure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and quality standardsPrepare and review project progress reports, presenting them to management and clients, highlighting key milestones and achievements
Requirements
Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Construction Manager/Site Agent or a similar role in the construction industryBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related fieldStrong knowledge and understanding of construction processes, methods, and materialsProven experience in managing and delivering complex construction projects on time and within budgetExcellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead and collaborate with cross-functional teamsStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a strategic mindset focused on achieving project objectivesExperience in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial managementProficiency in construction management software and toolsPr CM or Pr CPM registration with SACPCMP is preferredValid driver's license and willingness to travel to various project sites as needed
