Job Description:

  • The purpose of this is role is to support the De Beers business strategy to directly drive business value.


The role is a De Beers Group specialist with knowledge of the Governance, Risk and Compliance landscape inclusive of SAP Authorisations.

They are aligned with IM and Business objectives and operating model.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

  • Work safely and be committed to being a safety leader.
  • Enable business by enhancing the alignment between business processes and IM systems.
  • Provide training on the use of technology and business process to targeted clients.
  • Work closely with process owners and key users to understand business requirements and drive the building of quality solutions.
  • Perform requirements definition and solution configuration and testing, in conjunction with delivery teams.
  • Drive the adoption of best practice and enforce the use of standard systems and solutions.
  • Keep up to date with technology trends.
  • Act as the key specialist point of contact for service providers and clients in problem solving and investigations related to service and technology incidents and requests.
  • Implements solutions to reduce level of risk exposure.
  • Manage and optimise targeted systems/modules to support efficient and accurate controls.
  • Ensure GRC systems, within scope, compliance with regulations and audit requirements.
  • Develop reports and dashboards to analyse data for decisionmaking.
  • Adheres to and participates in governance forums and processes.
  • Collate data and information to support audits and attestation requirements.
  • Work with suppliers to ensure delivery according to Service Levels
  • Support client access review process.

Qualifications:

  • The successful incumbent must meet the following criteria:
  • An undergraduate qualification (Diploma or equivalent) in the relevant IM or functional discipline
  • Experience working in a multinational, multicultural environment.
  • IT Service Delivery and vendor management
  • Stakeholder engagement

REQUIRED SKILLS / COMPETENCIES:

  • Ability to work across organisational and functional boundaries.
  • Business improvement tools and techniques.
  • Proven skills in administering work.
  • Good thinking and problemsolving skills.
  • A selfstarter who takes the initiative and follows through.
  • Understands the IM Architecture and how their own work contributes to its achievement.
  • Governance, Risk and Compliance processes and frameworks
  • SAP GRC and authorisations experience
