    Job description
  • Provide support to Boilermakers in cutting, shaping, assembling, and welding steel to construct and repair mechanical/metal parts
  • Duties and tasks:
  • Adhere to strict occupational health and safety guidelines.
  • Follow instructions and perform other duties as required.
  • Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment.

  • National senior certificate
  • Boilermaker Assistant
qualification

  • Must be medically fit and pass a medical examination as required.
  • Relevant experience will be advantageous ± 5 years proven working experience.
  • Skills required:
  • Able to perform manual work.
  • Able to work well in a team environment.
  • Good manual dexterity with the ability to use
    hand tools and
    portable electrical equipment.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication.
  • Ability to follow instructions well.
  • Previous work experience in a mining environment will be advantageous.
