  • Preferred in office at our client's offices in Sandton, Johannesburg.

About this role:


Our Client is a Global Sales team and they are hiring a Market and Trend Research Analyst to support our sales activities.


This is a new role that has two core responsibilities:

  • Providing the team with sales leads and insights in key markets and industries.
  • Enriching data on companies in our sales pipeline to increase the information available to the sales team to maximize their chance of success.
  • This role will report to the Global Sales leadership team. You will have their full support and enhance your productivity.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably with a focus in fields of Business and Commerce

Experience:

  • 2+ years relevant work experience preferably in a sales environment

Skills:

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
  • Preferred experience with typical sales software stack including CRM and Sales Intelligence

Knowledge:

  • Reads extensively and stays up to date with new and current affairs.
  • Demonstrates understanding of the business and political averment in the United States of America

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research new and existing industries to discover potential customers for our sales team.
  • Identify and highlight important trends in key Markets and present recommendation to the sales team.
  • Mange account lists by importing into our CRM and distributing them between team members.
  • Map out reporting hierarchies on key accounts to identify buying committees and support the selling process.
