What the role is accountable for:

  • The Senior Recruitment Consultant will fulfil a 360-recruitment role;
  • Strong communication and criticalthinking skills, flexible and capable of working independently and part of a team in identifying highcalibre talent, utilising various technical ranging from market research, statistical analysis, and data mining;

Role Reporting:

  • Recruitment Team Lead;

A typical day may include:

Operations:

  • Determine applicant requirements by understanding the job requirements and qualifications;
  • Proactively identify and track organisation, industry, functional trends, and report findings to share with the client;
  • Achieving of biweekly research, monthly and annual targets;
  • Networking capability supported by direct dialling, proactive approaching, and sourcing;
  • Desktop research;
  • Various career portals (PNET, Career Junction, executive Placements) and LinkedIn;
  • Networking capability supported by direct dialling, proactive approaching, and sourcing;
  • Ability to build and network with relevant industry associations and trade publications;
  • In consultation with the Recruitment Team Lead;
  • Manage time effectively to balance research requests from clients;
  • Negotiate pay and salary rates;

Talent Mapping:

  • Knowledge about industry to identify and headhunt proactive talent;
  • Full talent mapping capability from research to identification placement or proactive succession planning;
  • Ability to build and network with relevant industry associations and trade publications;
  • Manage time effectively to balance talent mapping requests from clients;
  • Set targets to identify suitable skill and talent, working within a 4 6week turnaround to manage client from commencement of role identification (pendent client timeframe);
  • Negotiate upsell to consider a career move and monetary evaluation;
  • Proactively identify and track organisation, industry, functional trends, and report findings to share with the client;

Client Relationship Management and Sales:

  • A strong and proven track record in sales, networking, and client development abilities to drive new Professional Services business development and sourcing of new clients to convert into commercial opportunities;
  • Identifying and developing client / business relationships;
  • Fostering longterm relationships and understanding client requirements ensuring growth and development of accounts;

Qualifications we look for:

Essential Qualifications / Experience:

  • Matric;
  • Above average MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel Skills;

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant Diploma / Certification in HR / General Project Management;
  • Undergraduate Degree (HR qualification advantageous);

Experience we look for:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills;
  • Good interpersonal skills managed in a pressurised environment, adhering to strict deadlines, and working multiple vacancies simultaneously;
  • Ability to work with mínimal supervision and adapt to changing projects and deadlines, working within a pressurised environment;
  • An understanding of industry / company activity / best talent;
  • Strong commercial business acumen analytical and methodical in your approach to the market;
  • Must be an excellent judge of character and results driven;
  • Good interpersonal skills managed in a pressurised environment, adhering to strict deadlines, and working multiple search projects simultaneously;
  • Business development experience advantageous: 2 4 years;
  • Research related experience within the recruitment industry: 4 6 years;
  • Project experience: 4 6 years.
