Interior Decorating/Accounts Coordinator

Requirements:

  • This person should be able to collaborate seamlessly with clients, as well as other designers, architects and contractors
  • Liaise with clients and third parties directly, including onsite visits
  • Responsible for managing the inhouse fabric and wallpaper library
  • Thorough calculation for quotations and reconciliation of account, customer and suppliers
  • Knowledge of custom furniture design, visual research, furniture sourcing, in addition to maintaining budgets and project timelines
  • Prepare and develop presentation, drawings, models, mood boards and other concept material
  • Keep abreast of design trends
  • 2 to 3 years exp in interior design and a suitable qualification from an accredited school
  • Experience of Renovation, Refurbishment and Restoration projects
  • Exceptional presentation skills
  • Passion for design and an eye for detail
  • Knowledge of the full design process including concept, schematic, design development, construction documentation, construction administration, procurement, and installation is preferred
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), SketchUp, 20/20 and Microsoft Office Suite is preferred
  • Salary between 15K 20K depending on the experience
  • Monday to Friday 7h30 to 16h30
  • Driver's License essential

  • Invoicing
  • Copying
  • Scanning
  • Typing of quotes
  • Managing installers diaries
  • Allocating payments
  • Creating new customer accounts
  • Typing delivery notes
  • Sending off payment advice to suppliers
  • Filing
