Duties and Responsibilities

  • Teaching Planning and Preparation
  • Identify learning outcomes.
  • Teaching and learning guidelines understood.

  • Administration
  • Coordinating the maintenance of training records, and attendees ensuring that information is filed.
  • Ensuring that the learning environment complies to all legal requirements.
  • Regularly evaluating the effectiveness of training
  • Assisting learners/ employees in the class who do not understand.
  • Preparing and updating reports pertaining training
  • Processing all documents accurately and timely according to company policies and procedures
  • Filing documents for records to ensure compliance and future retrieval.
  • Deliver quality training which includes learnership, apprentice, trade testing, ARPL, KM & PM trade facilitation, and regulatory requirements to ensure that trainees are able to achieve the required level of competence and understand the safe working procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Facilitate learners to be able to repair broken or defective machine parts, using welding and brazing tools.
  • Align equipment by using specialized tools.
  • Review and follow highly technical and complex machinery manuals.
  • Facilitate learners to be able to disassemble machine parts when transporting or repairing them and reassemble the parts.

Qualifications

  • A relevant qualification in Education, Training, or a related field on NQF 5 and higher, with Millwright Trade Test and PLC fault finding skills
  • Red Seal.

Assessor and
Moderator certification for Generic Management Qualification on NQF Level
  • Basic H&S knowledge and able to weld: Arc, Tig. etc

Work experience

  • 2 to 3 years of experience in facilitating
  • Proven experience in facilitating and assessing leadership.
  • Familiarity with relevant legislative and quality assurance requirements.
