Location: Gauteng

Contract Term: 1 May December 2025

ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
  • Degree / higher qualification in computer sciences
  • Degree / higher qualification in information systems

Operations Experience (on-Prem / Cloud) (Develop / Test / Deploy / Improve)
ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
  • Fluent in English including Business reading and writing
  • Information Technology Qualification
  • Agile and DevOps Understanding

Infrastructure technologies: Data Centres, Networks, Servers, Storage, Platform, Middleware
  • Cloud Technologies: AWS, Azure, etc.

Soft Skills:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong Report Writing.
  • Strong ability to understand and interpret Business needs and requirements with the ability to move concepts through to proposal and finally successful implementation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with ability to communicate effectively (both verbally and written) with both technical and nontechnical colleagues / users.
  • Should be willing to deal with (talk to) our customers. In most cases they will be foreign customers and language barriers might exist.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, inter dependant as well as independently and submit deliverables on time and in excellent quality. SELF STARTER.
  • Above board work ethics this is of utmost importance.
  • Flexibility to take up different tasks in the project.
  • Ability and willingness to coach and give training to fellow colleagues and users when required.
  • Willing and able to travel extensively, for up to 2 weeks at a time (international).

Mandatory:
Experience (10-15Years)
Degree / higher qualification in computer sciences or equivalent qualification

Network experience
Knowledge and qualifications
Agile Methodology
Process improvement methods as well as risk related control frameworks and practices (COCO, COSO, CMM, COBIT, etc.)
WHAT WILL BE YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES?
Continuity Tool Process Development, Solutions, and enhancement (Analysis / Develop / Test / Deploy / Improve)
  • Engage with stakeholders for IT Service Continuity Management (IT-SCM), Availability Management and Crisis Management processes.
  • Define, Develop and Execute training of the IT Continuity Management Processes.
  • Steering of service providers related to ITSCM Topics.
  • Engaging with Operations Teams (Infrastructure and Applications)
  • Monitoring of IT-SCM Activities within the Group.
  • Interfacing with other experts on IT Service Management.
