As a Lab Assistant, you will play an integral part in the effective running of the lab and in assisting the lab techs where needed.

- Monday to Friday 4 hours per day: 13h00 - 17h00 / 14h00 - 18h00
(These shifts might change in accordance with operational needs of the practice)

WHAT IS EXPECTED FROM THIS JOB?

  • Handle samples
  • Log cases onto LIMS system
  • Run instruments (if necessary) under supervision.
  • Prepare parcels and send away tests.
  • Clean small equipment.
  • Help with admin wherever needed.

TO BE A GOOD FIT FOR THIS JOB YOU NEED

  • Grade 1
  • Lab Assistant experience (interest).
  • Computer Literate
  • If you can tick these, you will have an advantage:_
  • Industry exposure.
  • Understanding of Veterinary Clinical work.

Skills, Knowledge, Personal Qualities:

  • Polite, friendly, and helpful attitude.
  • Good teamwork skills
  • Willing to take on practical and manual activities.
  • Able to work under pressure.
  • Skilled in multitasking and good time management.
