Role Purpose

Requirements:

  • Degree in Informatics or equivalent.
  • Project Management qualification.
  • Agile certification.
years' experience as a project manager.
years' experience as a scrum master.

  • Experience in Jira and other project management tools.
  • Experience working with different frameworks in Agile.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the Programme Manager during the various business planning processes including quarterly and yearly strategic planning.
  • Responsible for managing the backlog and prioritizing different stakeholders.
  • Ensure that planning is aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Responsible for resource planning.
  • Work between IT and business to enable strategy.
  • Coach team on valuebased prioritisation.
  • Manager vendor relationships in terms of implementation
  • Assist the Product Owner to ensure product backlogs are prioritised.
  • Facilitate ceremonies, ensure attendance of the ceremonies, and ensure the Scrum team lives by the values and practices of their scrum;
  • Ensure that all user stories are linked to an Epic and that sprint goals are clearly articulated.
  • Ensure all components of the user stories are part of the sprint backlog (technical and nontechnical).
  • Ensure each Sprint has a Sprint Goal, that it is achievable and agreed to by the team.
- provide status reports, burndown charts, and velocity and business value charts to business owners and product owners.

  • Log, commit, and create visibility regarding the technical, business, and external services to the sprint.
  • Coordinate dependencies and synchronise across teams where there is a dependency linked to the team's deliverables.
  • Identify and remove any impediments and foster an environment for highperforming team dynamics, continuous flow, and relentless improvement.
  • Create the relevant opportunities and spaces for effective communication between stakeholders.
  • Track progress and communicate throughout the sprint (technical, business & external services).
  • Identify when a sprint goal is at risk, raise and work with the team to resolve and escalate to relevant stakeholders where necessary.
  • Ensure the release of the sprint follows the right protocol.
  • Communicate impact of each sprint on the quarterly release plan.
  • Close the loop on retro items.
  • Coach the team and focus on everimproving team dynamics and delivery performance.
  • Work with the business owners and product owners to ensure the success of teams through the overall review of the team's performance and taking action where necessary.
