Job Overview:
As a Citrix Workspace Consultant specializing in On-Premise solutions, your responsibilities encompass the management and optimization of Citrix solutions within on-premises environments.
Primary FocusSecurity and Compliance:
Implement security best practices for Citrix environments. Configure firewalls, access controls, and encryption to protect sensitive data. Ensure compliance with industry standards (such as PCI DSS) when handling cardholder data.
User Support and Training:
Provide technical support to end-users, addressing Citrix-related queries and issues. Conduct training sessions for administrators and end-users on Citrix tools and features.
Performance Optimisation:
Analyse system performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimise resource allocation. Fine-tune Citrix components to enhance user experience and minimize latency.
Disaster Recovery and Backup:
Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans for Citrix environments. Regularly back up configurations, policies, and user profiles.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps. Generate performance reports and provide insights for continuous improvement.
Minimum requirements:
A Degree Information Technology/Computer Science Citrix Certification would be advantageous At least 3-5 years' experience in a similar role.
Salary information:
Market related, hourly rate.
