A leading group in Digital Marketing is seeking a Stock Controller to maintain optimal stock levels, ensure accurate inventory records, and contribute to the overall efficiency of warehouse operations.

Based in Somerset West.

Duties and responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

  • Effectively manage and maintain inventory using the DEAR system (Cin7 product).
  • Ensure accurate and realtime updates of stock levels, transfers, and adjustments.

Stock Control:

  • Conduct regular audits and cycle counts to validate inventory accuracy.
  • Implement and monitor stock control procedures to minimize discrepancies.

Order Fulfillment:

  • Collaborate with the Lead Stock Controller to fulfill customer orders accurately and on time.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless order processing.

Documentation:

  • Generate and maintain detailed records of stock movements, receipts, and dispatch.
  • Prepare reports on stock levels, consumption, and trends for management.

Communication:

  • Effectively communicate with suppliers, internal teams, and management regarding stockrelated matters.
  • Collaborate with the Lead Stock Controller to optimize stock levels based on demand forecasts.

Requirements:

  • Matric
  • Additional qualifications in logistics or supply chain management desirable.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a warehousing environment.
  • Familiarity with DEAR (Cin7) inventory management system preferred
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and identify trends in stock movements.
  • Ability to make datadriven decisions to optimize stock levels.
  • Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inventory records and order fulfillment.
  • Thoroughness in conducting stock audits and reconciliations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams and external partners.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload efficiently.
  • Proactive approach to addressing stockrelated challenges.
