Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilise clinical expertise in Oncology and Palliative Care to provide exceptional consultation services.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with members.
  • Manage the risk associated with Oncology and Palliative care for the scheme.
  • Conduct pre-authorizations and case management with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure comprehensive care management.
  • Communicate effectively with members and stakeholders, providing clear and concise information.
The Ideal Candidate Should Have:
  • A Nursing qualification or any other Healthcare qualification with Oncology experience.
  • Previous experience in a Managed Healthcare Call Centre.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Oncology Management.
  • At least 1 year of experience in Palliative Care.
  • Proficient knowledge of Coding Systems: ICD10 & CPT4 Principles.
  • Sound understanding of the Medical Aid Industry, Rules & Regulations, ISO, and related legislation.
  • Excellent business writing and communication skills with exceptional telephone etiquette.
  • Strong organizational awareness to anticipate the impact of actions on other groups.
  • Effective time management and good administration skills.
  • Proficient conflict resolution skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Strong team player who is results-driven.
  • Computer literacy, including MS Office and Medical Administration systems.
